  An adaptable & useful knife with a easy feel & handle! Durable & tough, the knife is made of razor-sharp high carbon steel with a nice polished finish. The blade is slightly thinner with a thickness of 5/64". The fixed blade extends down through the handle for a durable & well made knife. The knife is also easy to sharpen when need arises. The handle has an excellent high friction patterned grip & has a small finger guard for safety.

     High carbon steel is tougher & harder than stainless steels, making it ideal & desired for applications where durability is required, & where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are sharper & more durable, & have razor-sharp edges. Carbon steel in general is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.

Therefore, it is important to try & keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil, such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.
