Flowring Plants of the Tropics: Volume2: Trees, Climbers and Epiphytes

In this publication will be presented such plant species of the tropics and subtropics including the northern and southern mediterranean riparian countries, which are characterized by their mostly flamboyant flowers. The sites of the plant species - described here - are usually not isolated and only difficult to access habitats, but mostly urban habitats such as parks, gardens around homes and hotels, botanical gardens and green areas in towns. So the interested ordinary person has the chance to find and identify these plants himself. Besides excellents pictures and the description of the morphology of the species are presented interesting backgrounds for the derivation of the English and scientific name as well as the current or historical use of plant parts in traditional medicine and further purposes.
